"The Great Crus of Barolo" Wine Dinner | Friday, November 16th
A Series of Intimate Wine Exploration Dinners Focusing on Rare Wines from Piedmont, Italy
We are thrilled to announce the first in a series of exclusive wine dinners, offering wine lovers and enthusiasts the rare opportunity to savor beloved boutique and limited production wines of superior quality. This series is an exploration of taste and terroir, focusing on the “great crus” of Barolo and Barbaresco, each dinner specializing in one particular varietal.
The first dinner is on Friday, November 16th at 6:30pm, and explores the tapestry of Cannubi, which is considered by many to be the greatest cru vineyard sites of the entire Barolo region. Curated by Wine Director and Sommelier Claudio Villani, the dinner will highlight four vintages of Cannubi Barolo, each from a different boutique producer, accompanied by a four-course traditional Piedmontese dinner from Chef Staffan Terje.
The experience will begin with a sparkling wine reception with a 2007 Alta Langa Spumante Metodo Classico (Brut, Ettore Germano), small bites, and move into a seated dinner. You’ll taste the evolution of winemaking, starting with modern production techniques and moving to more traditional methods. Wines being served:
- 1998 Cannubi Boschis, Luciano Sandrone
- 2004 Cannubio, Francesco Rinaldi in MAGNUM
- 2005 Cannubi, Paolo Scavino
- 2007 Cannubi San Lorenzo, Cavalier Bartolomeo di Borgogno Dario
This dinner is priced at $175 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity).

The second dinner on Tuesday, January 22nd, will highlight the Monprivato Vineyard with four different vintages from Giuseppe Mascarello. Details about the third dinner, hosted on Tuesday, March 19, will be announced after the first the year.

It's Truffle Season at Perbacco!

Sourced straight from the finest in Italy, guests will be able to enjoy these delectable treats in a beautifully crafted menu by Executive Chef Staffan Terje –all starting November 9th.
An annual tradition at Perbacco for the past six years, the team selects the best truffles for dishes that enhance the aroma of the delicate tubers of these earthy gems. Every dish is served with three grams of white truffle.

Meaning “grape harvest” in Italian, this cocktail is a true ode to the season. Hand crafted with house made concord grape puree, floral and earthy Italian liquors and subtle grape vodka, raise your glass to uva!
