Welcome to The Vision Update, a page dedicated to providing up-to-date news on the development of YOUR Vision jet. Small updates and big news can be found here so you can stay on top of the latest developments. We also invite your feedback, so please ask any questions you may have.
You will be among the first to take delivery of this transformational personal jet. The Vision is a personal jet designed to fill a significant niche between the piston single, piston twin and the Very Light (VLJ). It is designed to be simple to fly and easy to operate and a straightforward transition for pilots of high-performance aircraft, like the Cirrus SR22T.
Complete details for the information we have released about the Vision specifications are found
here. However recall these important facts:
- High end cruise speed 300 KTAS will allow a range of about 1000 NM
- Best economy cruise at 210 KTAS will allow a range of 1200 NM with full fuel
- Stall speed in the 60s at landing weights enable use of runways similar to SR22
- Pressurized, spacious cabin with seating flexibility for up to 5 full size and 2 child size seats
- Fits in a standard 40 ft. hangar
- First delivery targeted for late 2015
- Options will include: weather radar, on board relief station, and upgraded interiors.
It has been some time since our last update and the progress we have to report today is very exciting. In April 2012, we reported that the Vision program had been fully funded through production. That important milestone started us on a clear (development) path, with the first delivery scheduled for late 2015. Since the last update, the jet has met the important milestones we’ve set, and anticipate that we will continue on this course. Moving forward, we will share with you the continued achievement of key milestones and developments.
Watch for another update next week, as we introduce you to some of the team members building your jet.
